Oregon takes first step towards mandatory voting

Article by Colonel Nogov on Sept. 25, 2015

In March of this year, the Oregon legislature passed and the governor signed into “law” automatic voter registration for Oregon residents.  It is no longer a voluntary act to register to vote in Oregon, you are registered whether you want to or not.

There is a provision to opt out, but you must take the steps to do so.

This, as you can imagine, is actually praised by state worshipers.  “The system only works if you vote”,  “You can’t complain if you don’t vote”, “vote…vote…vote”,  “rock the vote”.  I’m sure you’ve heard them all.

Voting is not freedom.  Voting is a system of oppression.  It is a system where the majority dictates to the minority.  No matter how they try to sugar coat it such as claiming your rulers are actually your “representatives” or that there are “protections” for the minorities, these are mere deceptions to disguise the system for what it is.  It is a system that makes the masses believe they have some sort of control of the government.  They don’t.  The government rules the people.  The people don’t control it, it controls the people.  It writes rules to obey, or else.  It takes money by force; taxes.  Refuse to pay taxes and bad things happen.

Governments love voting because people do believe it gives them control.  The government is only to happy to encourage this.  Voting appears to legitimize government.  It is governments goal to get everyone voting.  Lots of countries today have mandatory voting.  (when should an anarchist vote?)

In a country like the U.S., mandatory voting has to be brought in incrementally.  People here have some funny notion that they are free.  They’re not.  They just don’t like to get fucked right away.  They’d prefer a little foreplay.

The first step in implementing mandatory voting is registering everyone.  And here you have it.  Oregon becomes the first state to automatically register everyone.  The politicians in other states are going to be so envious, they will follow this policy and write legislation making automatic registration in their state too.

One more pebble washed away in the erosion of freedom.
